What You should Know about Handheld GPS
A GPS or Extensive Positioning System was originally developed and operated by the U.S. Division of Defense. Before it was used for commercial purposes, the GPS was utilized by the military for round the clock sailing for ground, sea and air operations.
As the GPS became very much used for commercial purposes, it functions expanded to subsume monitoring and movement of people, cartography, forestry, mineral probe, tracking down of endangered wildlife in their non-chemical habitat and many more.
