Track Session #2
Last end of day was the first "real" track hearing of the summer. Last week the rails session was a 2 mile time side. My time was 16:27. From that all together, the coach formatted a individual pace name and a spreadsheet with 7 weeks of workouts. In additionally, the spreadsheet details workouts based on weekly mileage! WOW...way punter than previous years. I am putting this laminated after in a binder so I can look back it after I (all being well) qualify for Boston Marathon.
I ran a 1 mile warm up up and then a 200 slow and a 200 accelerated speed. The 200/200 helps get my heart appraise up...the coach said. Next up was 10x400 F estimate and jog 400. This means, run a 400 (one lap enveloping the track) within 1:56 and jog one lap to abridge my elevated heart rate. I am currently at 31 miles a week - so I needed to run 10 repeats. With the workout and awkward up/cool down last continuously was 7 miles! Luckily, it was less than 90 degrees exterior this week. My repeats looked like this:

I started pulling from my shoe overstock at well-informed in and chose my Nike Zoom Elite's from on all sides of 2003. Well, from my hyster surgery...my feet are now 1 saturated size smaller (hormones caused the ligaments in my feet to abjure?? I dunno!). After reproduction 5, I was tired of my feet slipping and sliding guts the shoes so I changed back to my Asic 2130 trainers. Ugh. I now must 4 pairs of ill-fitting shoes. Guess, Soles for Souls resolve make out good this year! In the same instant I was back in better fitting shoes, repeats 6 to 10 were much more safely a improved.
The last two repeats were closer to the once in a while I was supposed to hit, because I was in line with my righteous buddy, Matt Hobdy. We helped incursion each other the last two repeats! Yea! I was catchy sore afterward and pretty bushed. This morning...my piriformis on the the formerly larboard side is speaking up to me. Ugh... Established workout though. I am very blithesome with the stated times...and we'll see what it gets me at the next on occasion trial on July 15.
